BOSH ACQUIRES TELEALARM GROUP
Stuttgart (Germany) - On September 29, 2006 the Bosch Group signed the contract to acquire the TeleAlarm Group based in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland but the price remains undisclosed.
The TeleAlarm Group is one of the European leading manufacturers of social alarm and nurse call systems, mainly installed in care homes and hospitals. The Group has based its production primarily in La Chaux-de-Fonds (Switzerland) and has sales departments not only in Switzerland but also in Germany, UK, The Netherlands and Sweden.
In 2005 the Group's sales achieved 10 million Euros but the same year, with the help of the Bosch Security Systems Group, its sales rose up to 1 billion Euros including intrusion and fire alarm systems, video surveillance, access control and communication systems. Now such division can count on representatives in Europe, the US and Asia.
