Indigovision joins ONVIF and PSIA
Edinburgh (UK). As part of its strategy for the development of open standards in surveillance over IP, Indigovision has joined two important bodies as ONVIF (Open Network Video Interface Forum) and PSIA (Physical Security Interoperability Alliance). The company announced it will become active member of both organizations as well as actively involved in the development of new standards.
ONVIF is an open forum addressing all trade companies aiming at reaching a global standard for the interface of products dedicated to network video. PSIA was founded in February 2008 for the interoperability of security devices over IP. Several leading companies in the field of video surveillance, software, access control and important system integrators are already member of the group.
