Birmingham (UK). Two world leading companies of the security market like Norbain and Pelco announced they will not take part in IFSEC 2009, the British main trade show and one of the most important worldwide events on security. Alun John, Chief Executive of Norbain, stated that this decision was not easy at all as Norbain has been present in Ifsec for the last 25 years. But this break is supposed to help the launch of new key products in the market on time and successfully for the benefit of its customers and users. The Pelco Management declared the company will not participate in the show; the company will hold its “annual customer party” near Ifsec but not in the fairground. The Group regards this decision as the best solution due to the current world economic crisis. According to Dean Meyer, Pelco’s President and CEO, this way Pelco can better meet the needs of its customers by adjusting some costs like Ifsec and aiming at other investments.
