Towards Sicurezza 2008: focus on Homeland Security

Milan (Italy). SICUREZZA and SICURTECH 2008, the trade shows organized by Fiera Milano Tech, will be held on November 25-28 are the event entirely dedicated to all security-related aspects. The main focus of this edition is represented by Homeland Security, i.e. the set of products, systems and services for global security involving the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of Defence, Law Enforcement Agencies, the Corp of Forest Rangers, Civil Protection, Region of Lombardia and Milan City Council. This is the venue to exchange experiences with national and international trade players, with the participation of representatives from cutting-edge countries like United States, Great Britain, Israel and Russia.
In our globalized world, territory development is increasingly linked to security of people and structures to provide high security levels against criminal acts, terrorist attacks, accidents and natural catastrophes.
Some Conferences will be dealing especially with security and safety in seaports, airports, infrastructures and sensitive sites. Outstanding experiences of American and European seaports will be presented through case studies to outline the defence system of those countries. The same will be done for airports, infrastructures and sensitive sites, to be shown through the international framework of critical aspects and in-depth analyses of emerging threats: terrorist, IT, biochemical and nuclear attacks and their own counter measures.
