Home and Building 2008: a good debut

Verona (Italy). A good success for the first edition of “Home and Building”, International Conference and Exhibition on Domotics and Building Technologies held in Verona on October 21-23, 2008.
Over 6.000 key players from 16 different countries attended the show showing representing a qualified target among designers, system integrators, engineers, distributors, building contractors etc. Thanks to important parallel events delegates had the chance to optimize their participation by going into industrial issues like air conditioning, heating systems, energy, environment, automation, industrial maintenance, chemical lab, solar panels and photovoltaic equipments and so on in terms of technologies, laws and applications.
Research and technology were the main topics of the conference dedicated to innovation in building technologies involving the University of Verona and the Domotic Labs – ISTI CNR (National Council for Scientific Research).
The 43 exhibiting companies organised a series of technical Workshops ranging from domestic domotics to building automation for social use, from wireless protocols to RFID systems, from technologies for energy conservation to renewable energies.
All trade key players are invited to take part in the “Home and Building Days” scheduled for April 14, 2009 in Milan focusing on domotic solutions.
