SINGAPORE (SG). According to a recent market analysis by the IMS Research the market of network video surveillance will be experiencing a 42% increase in turnover from now to 2010. By that date, sales of network cameras, video servers and network video recorders are expected to reach a volume of 2,6 billion dollars. Despite these numbers, the analysis explains, network video cameras will be equivalent only to one third of global sales of video cameras. That proves again that new technologies are still trying to find their own way to the market while not always accepted by users with pleasure. The proof is that the demand for hybrid analogue/digital solutions will increase along with the sale of those products compatible with analogue solutions.
