The Swedish national flagship airline, Scandinavian Airlines, is about to install security systems based on fingerprints and smart cards produced by Precise Biometrics in all Swedish airports. It all comes after a positive testing phase at the Kallax airport. Ängelholm and Ronneby will be the next two cities involved where the Precise Biometrics’ security devices will be operating from December. The new systems by now manages identity controls for national flights, approximately ten million passengers per year.
